I’m super excited to announce that going forward Mondays will be gentle yoga and Wednesdays will be chair yoga! Due to the increasing popularity, I’ll be teaching chair yoga every Wednesday. If you haven’t tried it come try it this week!

Chair yoga is a gentle class that focuses on moving and building strength using a chair as a prop. Find balance and increase stability with poses that are modified to be up off the mat. The chair is simply a prop to help deepen and modify your practice.
We do poses adapted for the chair. From sun salutations to pyramid pose to various twists and folds, chair yoga makes it possible to practice with limited mobility. Class sizes are small and the slower pace makes it easy for any person to do yoga!

Gentle yoga on Mondays will be a slower flow designed to hold poses slightly longer for deeper opening and stretching. The first Monday of the month we will also incorporate yin yoga into our class.
