Now that summer is winding down it’s time for a new fall schedule!  I will be offering four different classes this fall.
My goal is to make yoga accessible for anyone. You don’t have to be super flexible or super skinny to do yoga. Yoga is not about how you look, but about how you feel. Yoga is not meant to be intimidating, but inviting.
If you’ve never tried yoga before, come try a FREE yoga workshop on Saturday September 16 at 10 am! This free class is an easy and informal way to learn some of the different flows in yoga. We will start out with a gentle flow and ease into a dynamic flow. After the flows, we will bring it all down to the floor for yin yoga and a yoga nidra (sleep) to end the class. Afterwards there will be time for questions and discussion. This is a great opportunity to explore yoga!
The first Monday of each month will be yin yoga. Yin yoga is a great complement to other physical activity. Yin helps to open up the body by going deep into the tissues. The following Mondays will be a dynamic flow designed to constantly flow from one pose to another. Dynamic yoga is about fluid movement and creating heat.
The first Wednesday of each month will be chair yoga. Chair yoga takes yoga up off the mat and onto the chair. Chair yoga is excellent for people with limited movement or are recovering from injury or illness. The following Wednesdays will be gentle flow yoga. Gentle flow moves through poses more slowly and is focused on going deeper into the poses.
